So it's very exciting when after paying all the payments you have money left for a month and you can use it for investments or just put it aside for a trip or a valuable purchase. It is very easy to do and it lifts the mood at the end of the month, although there is a temptation to spend it on something unnecessary

For me l really like doing so, whenever l get any income l save at least ten percent of it in my savings account. The savings can then help me sort out the unforseen financial needs during the rainy day.

Yes, I save money every month using the 50/30/20 budgeting rule. Whereby 50% of my income after tax is used on needs and important expenses and the remaining half is decided into 20% for loan repayment and savings and 30% for miscellaneous expenses. Though I like to reverse such that 30% is for savings while 20% is for extra expenses.
